Museum of the Municipality of Bačka Topola

The Bačka Topola Museum, a branch of the Subotica City Museum, opened in September 2002 in the Kray family mansion built in 1802. Its permanent exhibition includes natural history, archaeological, local history, literary and art collections. It presents the wildlife of the Krivaja riverbanks and archaeological finds from the Stone Age and the Sarmatian, Avar and medieval periods. Visitors can also see works of art and literature connected with Bačka Topola. The museum houses the library of the architect Dr Imre Harkai and a memorial room dedicated to the physician Dr János Hadzsy.
