We are honoured to invite you to the 35th New Bread Days, held on 23 August 2025 at the sports grounds of Novo Orahovo, with the following programme:
- 9:15 – Football teams gather – Gábor Kálmár Memorial Tournament
- 9:30 – Laying of a wreath at the grave of Gábor Kálmár
- 10:00 – Opening of the football and volleyball competitions
- 10:00 – Kangoo Jumps presentation and trial session – Emma Fejdi
- 12:00–13:00 – Lunch for the athletes
- 12:00 – Mutton and rabbit cooking contest
- 13:00–14:00 – Blessing of the new bread in the Roman Catholic Church of Christ the Saviour
- 14:00 – Opening of the handicraft exhibition and fair – participants can register with Valéria Baranyi, +381 64 389 0803
- 14:30–16:00 – “Play Street” children’s programme: fun and skill games, collecting coins that can be exchanged for gifts
- 15:30–15:45 – Results and awards for the Gábor Kálmár Memorial Tournament and the volleyball competition
- 15:45–16:00 – Awards for long-standing blood donors
- 16:00–18:00 – Tasting of mekike (fried dough)
- 16:30–16:50 – Cooking contest results and awards
- 17:30 – Dinner for guests
- 17:40–18:20 – Cultural programme
- 18:20–18:50 – Raffle draw
