The Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Bačka Topola is preparing a special programme for June 2026 called “June in Purple” (Jun u ljubičastom / Június lilában). All events take place at the beautiful lavender plantation on the lakeshore in Bačka Topola (Maps: VJ29+VQ, Zobnatica), and admission is free, with lavender refreshments.
Programme
4 June 2026, 7 pm – “In Progress” concert (Bajmok)
A band founded in 2013, known for energetic performances and its own musical style. Its repertoire covers a wide range of domestic and international hits, skilfully combining rock, funk and reggae. On stage: Katerina Ohrimenko (vocals), Csaba Bartos (drums), Boris Tatalović (guitar), Adrián Kollár (bass) and Dávid Dukai (keyboards).
11 June 2026, 7 pm – “SergeGrin & the Rockin’ South” concert
A blues-rock trio from Bačka Topola that has been bringing raw energy and an authentic sound for three years, led by Russian-born singer and harmonica player Serge Grin with guitarist Csaba Kasza and drummer Marko Predojević. Their sound blends classic blues with powerful rock energy and improvisation.
12 and 26 June 2026, 6 pm – Yoga for vitality
Two wellness sessions led by Vesna Sretenović Vujičić. Bring a towel or mat; admission is free, with lavender refreshments.
18 June 2026, 7 pm – “Timi & Dani Acoustic Duo” concert
A duo founded in 2023: Tímea Botka, a music teacher from Bečej, and Dániel Óvári, an experienced musician, perform well-known songs in unique acoustic arrangements – pop, rock, soul and evergreen melodies.
25 June 2026, 7 pm – “Bubamara” Music Centre concert
Students of the “Bubamara” Music Centre from Bečej, led by Gyönte Lovas, offer a unique musical experience with well-known pop and rock hits of Generation X – a special meeting of Generation Z and the music that shaped Generation X.
