Krivaja lies 14 km west of Bačka Topola. The village resembles a park, with rolling, wooded green areas, and is a favourite with day-trippers. A footpath through the state-protected park leads to the artificial lake “Moravica”. On the lakeshore there is an area for picnickers and swimmers, as well as sport fishing.
Krivaja is also home to the late-19th-century summer mansion of the Fernbach family.
