Svetićevo is one of the villages of the Bačka Topola municipality, known for its peaceful rural setting and rich Orthodox tradition. The village takes its name from its patron saint, the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius. The church feast brings together residents and guests every year at the end of October and is marked with a festive liturgy, a procession through the village and a community gathering.
