Pačir lies 20 km north-west of Bačka Topola. Interestingly, the village has four churches: Catholic, Orthodox, Reformed and Baptist. Pačir has a well-kept hunting lodge, and next to the village there is a small lake for sport fishing and outings.
Pačir Thermal Spa
Pačir’s healing water rises from 1,400 m below the ground. At the source the water reaches 72 °C, while the thermal lake is 28–32 °C. The water has a high concentration of sodium chloride, so the lake is not only warm but also very salty and therapeutic. The water is suitable for treating a range of conditions and is recommended for recovery after injuries, skin diseases such as psoriasis, rheumatic conditions, urological and gynaecological inflammations; it also helps with high blood pressure and stress.
