Backa Topola Museum

The Bačka Topola Museum, as a branch of the City Museum of Subotica, was opened in September 2002 in the castle of the Krai family, built in 1802. The museum has a permanent exhibit that includes natural history, archeology, native, literary and art collections. It shows the living world from the banks of Krivaja, archaeological material from the Stone Age, Sarmatian, Avar and medieval periods. Visitors can also see artistic and literary works related to Bačka Topola. There is the library of the architect Dr. Imre Harkai and a memorial room dedicated to the doctor Janos Dr. Hadži.
