Skc “Vuk Stefanović Karadžić” was founded on February 21, 1990 in Bačka Topola with the task of nurturing the culture of the Serbian people to limit its spiritual and material duration, to preserve the tradition of the ancestors and hand it over to the latter.
Respecting the fact that the Serbian people are one nation, and that the multitude of manifestations in it constitute a cultural treasure that can only be found in a nation with a long history, for the sake of preserving that treasure, skc “Vuk Stefanović Karadžić” is the founder and organizer of the festival of spiritual and material creativity of the Dinaric Serbs in Vojvodina, which is called “Our Family and Descendants” and is held every year in Bačka Topola.
This kind of work in skc brought success and recognition at numerous shows and festivals in the country and abroad, gold, silver and bronze plaques from the provincial and republican festivals are only a confirmation of the correct attitude towards the traditions of one’s own people.
In recognition of fostering the spiritual culture of the Serbian people, skc “Vuk Stefanović Karadžić” is the winner of the bishop’s letter of recognition of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
