Catholic Church of the Immaculate Virgin Mary

An extremely important building, not only as a sacred building, but also as a tourist landmark. With a tower height of 72.70 m, this is the highest Catholic church in Serbia. With a capacity of 5,000 people, it is one of the most impressive examples of sacred architecture on the territory of our country. The construction of the church was completed in 1906.

It was built in the neo-Gothic style according to the plans of Ferenc Reichl. It is interesting that during the construction of the pillars, reinforced concrete was used, which was a novelty at the time and which represents the great value of this church.
